19th September 2021: Please note that the upcoming course detailed above is for 8 weeks, with a break in the middle so that we will not be meeting on 18th November. Please also note that on 28th October our session will be starting and finishing 45 minutes later than the usual 7.30pm. Please see notes on "Covid-19" tab before booking

If the dates/times or location of the venues of any of my courses don't work for you but you are committed to wanting to establish a meditation and mindfulness practice please contact me as it may be possible to arrange a course  in the future that better suits your needs and availability.

For the first 2 sessions we will be learning to meditate lying down, so we would ask you to please bring along a mat or blanket to lie on for these classes (if you do not have anything suitable please let us know in advance).

Other than this no special equipment is required to take part in these courses as we will generally be learning to practice on chairs rather than sitting or kneeling on the floor, but if you would like to bring your own cushion along for comfort you are very welcome. If you have a meditation cushion or stool that you would prefer to sit on instead of a chair please feel free to bring this with you.

Suitability and safety

Meditation and mindfulness are very safe practices to participate in and hugely beneficial for the vast majority of people, however there are a few people for whom these practices will not work optimally. The first are people who are not yet ready to commit to daily practice, albeit for only about 30 minutes a day, and the second are those who suffer from schizophrenia, paranoia or other problems of this kind, for whom very particular help is required if this type of work is to be beneficial (we can recommend other suitably trained practitioners if this is the case for you).

On booking any course you will receive a booking acknowledgement and a Release From Liability form, which we ask you to complete and return to us before the start of the course.

Cancellation Policy : Please note that we are unable to offer transfers or refunds less than one week before the start date of your course / workshop. If you cancel prior to this but after receipt of course material from us then you will either need to return this to us in the same condition or a deduction will be made to cover these costs.
