Online Courses with Zoom
No special equipment is required to take part in these courses other than a computer or smart phone with a good internet connection. Zoom is a free online video conferencing system that you can very easily connect to through a web browser, such as Google, or you can download an App onto your smart phone - it is very simple to use but if you have any concerns then please give us a call well in advance and we will happily talk you through it.
The only things you will need access to is a roll mat (and perhaps pillows and a blanket to get really comfortable) with space to lay it out on the floor or a bed to lie down on (for the first 2 sessions) and a chair or meditation cushion/bench for the remainder of the course.
Once you are signed up you will receive course notes, access to guided meditation audios, a bespoke Zen Skills Journal, which has been specifically designed to assist you in making progress, and a direct Zoom link for the course.
Suitability and safety
Meditation and mindfulness are very safe practices to participate in and hugely beneficial for the vast majority of people, however there are a few people for whom these practices will not work optimally. The first are people who are not yet ready to commit to daily practice, albeit for only about 30 minutes a day, and the second are those who suffer from schizophrenia, paranoia or other problems of this kind, for whom very particular help is required if this type of work is to be beneficial (we can recommend other suitably trained practitioners if this is the case for you).
On booking any course you will receive a booking acknowledgement and a Release From Liability form, which we ask you to complete and return to us before the start of the course.
Cancellation Policy : Please note that we are unable to offer transfers or refunds less than one week before the start date of your course / workshop. If you cancel prior to this but after receipt of course material from us then you will either need to return this to us in the same condition or a deduction will be made to cover these costs.
